Sunday Off
Quarterly Coach Meeting 2.15.25
A day off. I was looking forward to this day, and now it is, sadly, almost over. Much of it was scooped away with computer work, but I didn’t have to be anywhere, which was great. I could go for a walk with my son to the beach as I saw fit. We set out in the rain, and the streets were a mess of snow and ice, but it is getting better, and a person can walk safely. I took measurements of the thigh, hip, chest, arm, and upper and lower abs. Inches gained all over, as I suspected, especially my arm, which used to be cut but is now flabby from years of favouring the declining shoulder. I may do an InBody Scan at the gym when the Reset Challenge ends next week. At 4 pm, I did a workout in my den, an hour of movement, which is essential for staying limber. I am going to the gym early tomorrow morning to do cardio intervals, followed by the 8am group class. I am fighting the urge to cancel. When I first started coaching, as in I had not coached a class, The Truth, a seasoned coach advised me “You just have to get in there and suffer through it, eventually it gets easier.” He was right. The same approach now needs to be taken when attending group classes. My game plan is to focus on what I can do and nothing else!
