Simple Things

Mission accomplished today. Clock read 6:08 on the gym clock when I arrived in the dark this morning. Got on with it, doing a version of the gym's workout of the day, Hero WOD Emily. Coaches trickled in shortly after me, doing their thing. There was a beautiful sunrise as I left just before the 8 am class started. Classes packed there this morning. Drove to Shell on 41st and Dunbar to get gas and was overjoyed to find car wash empty and vacuum unoccupied. 2.50 for 5 mins of vacuuming and all you need to do is tap your credit card on the machine. Who knew? No coins or mucking around required. Car had not been cleaned since the summer and was bugging me but had not gotten to it. Cold, snow, rain, other priorities. It is clean and this simple task completion brought me much joy.. Spent rest of day dismantling Christmas and clearing clutter out of house for a Big Brother pick-up tomorrow. During breaks started a blog post for gym on nutrition prep for the Open. At 6pm walked down to the gym to coach a Fitsters class.. It is a simple mile from my house to the gym and I like the 15 min separation from home/work the walk provides. Don't want to be flung straight from one thing into another if I can avoid it. Ciao!
