Showing Up

Action walk in Pacific Spirit Park today.

When Life Feels Heavy, Move Anyway

Some news hit me hard yesterday afternoon. I’m still processing it.

I’ve learned that you must keep taking action, even when you’re sad or don’t feel like it, because waiting for the feelings to pass before moving forward can keep you stuck.

Action is the thing that loosens the grip of heaviness. It’s like going to work with a cold—you don’t feel 100%, but you show up anyway, and somehow, the day moves forward.

The key isn’t to ignore the emotions. Feel them. Acknowledge them. But don’t let them keep you from doing what needs to be done. A walk with a good playlist helps!
