What is the best next step you can take towards your goals right now? That is the latest question I pose to myself during the day. It is a helpful strategy when I start to ruminate about “what isn’t” and risk languishing in that mindset. What action can I take right now to go in the direction I want? One small step. It leads to a forward focus. What step can I take with the time in front of me right now? Trouble getting going? Set a timer for 15 minute and tackle one task that will move the needle forward.
