Fall Fit
How do you get really fit in the Fall? As in, use this time of year to hone in on your fitness and not get caught up in the holidays, i.e., Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, and in my family, a handful of birthdays. What if you set a goal of upping your game this Fall so you don’t have to dig yourself out of a hole when January rolls around? It is a real seasonal challenge. If you want to avoid the trap, it is best, in my experience, to start planning your escape from this situation right about now. Get extra support if you need it. Book massages on the regular now through till December when there won’t be a hope of getting an appointment. Meet a trainer on the regular. Commit to a training plan. The world has re-opened. There will be more parties this year. People out in shops. Expect your tolerance to be low and you may tire more easily. Don’t overcommit. Figure out your limits in a day, a weekend. What is important to you this Fall? We could grow stronger or just get through. Think about it. When you have a clear answer you can start to plan your next steps!
