Healing in Nature

I’m off to Hornby Island tomorrow at 4:45 am with my sons, ages 17 and 19 and their friend, age 20. I finally caught COVID and now have been out of the gym for a week. No working out. Coughing and weak. I am freaked out about spreading germs to others who are about to have vacations. I think the days of heroics in the workplace are gone. It is however, a bit of a quagmire. Bottom line. Got worn out and got it. Too tired to shop or pack for this trip. I’ve left it to the wilds of my sons to gather supplies and pack the car. I’ve put some clothing in a bag and carried two 35 lb dumbbells out for packing. They felt like they weighed a 100 lbs each. Debatable whether they will be used. Plan is to recover in the Island air. I will be sleeping in my favorite room of all times. It has a skylight over the super comfortable bed and when I wake up in the night I can see the Big Dipper. It is totally cool and I simply must get there and recover. Weather even looking promising!
